Our Christian Values and Ethos

At Breamore CE Primary School, we grow and learn together with grace and love. Our nurturing and inclusive culture enables every member of our school family to be valued and respected unconditionally. Our ambitious and forward-thinking curriculum provides every child with the courage to be successful and confident to make their own individual difference to God's world.

-Our Vision

Jesus reminds us in the parable of the lost sheep (Luke 15:1) that every one of us is precious to him: he will never give up on us, no matter what! He leaves the ninety-nine sheep that are safe to go to find that one lost little sheep because that sheep is so important to him, just like each of us.

Our school’s Christian ethos is at the heart of all we do. Our distinctive Christian character is developed through every aspect of school life.

We have adopted courage, grace and respect as our distinctive special Christian values and they underpin the daily life of our school.

Courage

Enduring in our commitment to following what is right and true, and not giving in to discouragement.

Grace

Displaying generosity and kindness, and showing care for others.

Respect

Valuing each other and respecting each other's differences.

Our ethos aims to ensure that every child feels valued, as unique and precious.  We foster caring relationships between all members of the school community, characterised by Christian love, kindness, respect and trust, with a mutual concern for each other’s well-being.

Encourage one another and build each other up

-Thessalonians 1:5

Reflection areas, displays and artefacts are a constant reminder of our Church of England school status. We have a school prayer written by the children.

We have close links with St Mary's Breamore and often take the children there for services. We also are visited by local clergy who lead collective worship.

We were judged by SIAMs to be an 'excellent' church school. Read the full report below.
