A foundation for life

Tutsan (Year 5&6)

Welcome to Tutsan Class!

Welcome to Tutsan Class! We are Year 5 & 6 and our teacher is Mrs Tully. Mrs Foord and Mrs Fraemohs also help us with our learning.

This year, our classes are named after plants that grow nearby on Breamore Marsh. Tutsan - from the French words toute saine, meaning all healthy - is a beautiful green shrub with delicate yellow flowers. It was used by the druids for medicinal purposes as it has antiseptic properties.

Class Timetable

This is our class timetable. Mrs Tully teaches us all week, apart from Tuesday afternoons, when Miss Coombes takes the mantle.

Please wear your PE kit to school on these days.

Discover Term - Autumn 2023

Do our beliefs drive our actions?

This autumn, we are exploring the project 'Do our beliefs drive our actions?'  through our key concepts of belief and faith. This term will have a history and art focus, leading to a showcase of our work in a 'Belief through art' exhibition of our work at St. Mary's Church Fordingbridge

During our project, we will be exploring The Ancient Egyptians, The Ancient Greeks and early islamic civilisation. We will be expressing our understanding of the historical time periods and the answer to the over-arching question of, 'Do our beliefs drive our actions' with drawing, sculpture and digital art.
